Exercise Physiology

...helping you live life to the fullest.

Exercise Physiology is an evidence-based allied health service that uses tailored exercise programs to support people to improve their physical function, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologist works with NDIS participants to deliver safe, individualised programs focused on building strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and confidence in everyday activities. Supports are practical and goal-focused, and can be delivered in the home, community, gym, or other suitable environments. Services are regularly reviewed to ensure they align with individual goals and NDIS outcomes.

Exercise Physiology may be funded through the NDIS under Improved Health and Wellbeing or Improved Daily Living, depending on a participant’s plan.

Who is Exercise Physiology for?

Exercise Physiology may be suitable for NDIS participants who:

  • Want to improve mobility, strength, balance, or physical capacity
  • Live with a physical, neurological, or psychosocial disability
  • Have chronic health conditions impacting daily function
  • Want to increase independence and participation in daily or community activities
  • Require safe, supported exercise tailored to their individual needs

AJH Disability and Health Services acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
